What documents are required for purchasing Essential Benefits Plan (EBP)?

To apply, please provide:

  • Copy of your Emirates ID, Visa, and Passport (for both the insured and sponsor if sponsor is an individual) and Trade License & Establishment Card (if sponsor is a company)

  • Labor contract or Salary Certificate showing a monthly salary of AED 4,000 or less

  • Proof of previous UAE health insurance (if applicable)

  • Duly completed Application Form

Are pre-existing & chronic conditions covered immediately?

Pre-existing and chronic conditions are covered after a 6-month waiting period. However, if you have continuous prior health insurance coverage in the UAE, this waiting period may be waived.
